3603 seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. This candidate will be responsible for effective communication with guests and management of staff. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, efficient and have previous experience in a similar role and environment.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 3 years Management experience
- Own transport
- Good working knowledge of GAAP
Responsibilities:
- Handling F.O.H. staffing responsibilities, including training, scheduling, and terminating.
- Ordering of supplies and overseeing use of food and beverages within required dates and with a minimum of waste.
- Supervising staff in terms of, customer service, cleaning, and repairs to restaurant as well as food preparation in conjunction with the relevant kitchen manager.
- Promoting cooperative effort, a team spirit, and good morale among employees.
- Delivering excellent customer service including personally greeting and seating guests.
- Resolving complaints from customers in a polite, friendly manner.
- Participating in training about standardised policies and conferring weekly with owner management about restaurant operations.
- Providing regular, accurate, computerized reports of operations to owner management.
- Data Capturing of expenses,
- Helping with duties of other employees (e.g., cashier, server, cook, etc.) when necessary, because of an unexpected absence or extra volume.
- Responding to customer and community interests to develop marketing and advertising.
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned.
